Summer Glau, an American actress, is famous for her role as River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Alongside these films, she also appeared in the series The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered and Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Guest-starred for the series Hawaii Five-0. She has also acted in TV shorts and films like Mammoth, The Initiation Of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon and Help for the holidays Dead End and Inside the Box. Glau has won several awards and honours. She was twice included on the list of 100 Sexiest Females in the World by FHM and was once included in the Wizard magazine's list of Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim has included her on the magazine's Hot 100. Glau's achievements in acting include winning the SFX Award, which she received for her role in Serenity. For her role on Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Glau was awarded the Saturn Award. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was the eldest of three children born to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena joined the band of her father as she was eight years old. Selena was the lead guitarist in the group, as did her two siblings Abraham junior playing base, as well as Sister Suzette who played drums. Selena acted as the singer. Selena Y Los Dino, the band she performed with was named Selena Y Los Dino. They also performed in wedding fairs as well as dining establishments. The band was very time consuming for Selena and her family, which is why they never had much of a childhood but they were pushed to become dedicated musicians because of perseverance by the father Abraham. Abraham senior was a member of the first band, known as Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos officially was formed in 1981. It was the band's main commercial venture, as well as the main source of family income. Although there were tough times starting out with very little funds, the Quintanilla family was determined and continued in their endeavors to be an effective band. Selena Y Los Dinos, the band that gained traction across the Western States at around the turn of the century was the result of their persistence.
